Terms of Service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of HouseLeague Pro (the “service”), the software clubs use to run racquet-sports house leagues at houseleaguepro.com and app.houseleaguepro.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

HouseLeague Pro is a business name of HOUSELEAGUEPRO, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada (Business Identification Number 1001697033).

The service

HouseLeague Pro helps clubs schedule matches, track standings and results, collect availability, and send reminders. Features may change as the service evolves.

Accounts & eligibility

Access is granted through your club — a club administrator adds you to a roster. Sign-in is passwordless (a one-time email link or code, or Sign in with Google). You are responsible for keeping your email account and sign-in method secure, and for activity that happens under your account.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access data belonging to clubs or members you are not part of.
  • Do not disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or misuse the service.
  • Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Your content

You and your club provide information such as scores and availability. Your club's administrators are responsible for managing their league's data. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit.

Messages, posts & comments

Some leagues let members write to each other inside the app — messages to your match opponent, posts on the league board, and comments or replies where a league turns them on. This section covers anything you write in those places.

You are responsible for what you write. Keep it respectful and lawful. No harassment, no hate, and do not share other people's private information — phone numbers, addresses, or anything else that isn't yours to pass on.

Who sees it depends on where you write it:

  • Posts on the league board are visible to everyone in your league.
  • Messages on a match are visible to the two players in that match and to the league's organizers.
  • Your league's organizers can read and remove member content in the spaces they run.

Your club's organizers are the first-line moderators of their league's spaces. They — and we — may review member content, may remove it, and may restrict a member's use of the messaging features. Removing something takes it out of view for the league; a copy may be kept in our records.

By posting, you allow us to show what you wrote in the app and to include it in the notification emails the service sends to the people it is meant for. That is simply how a message or a board post is delivered — most members read them in their inbox rather than in the app.

We are not the author of anything a member writes, and we are not responsible for it. If something written in your league concerns you, raise it with your league's organizers, or email us at hello@houseleaguepro.com.

Clubs and paid plans

Players do not pay us — clubs do. If your club subscribes to HouseLeague Pro, the commercial relationship between that club and us (fees, billing, data-protection terms, and how the arrangement ends) is set out in a separate Service Agreement signed with the club. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, the Service Agreement governs for that club.

Your club decides what information it collects about its players and how it runs its league. We provide the software. Decisions about eligibility, discipline, disputes, and playoff qualification are your club's to make, not ours.

Availability & changes

We aim to keep the service running reliably, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

The service depends on third parties — hosting, databases, email delivery, push-notification services, internet providers, and your own email provider. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or failures caused by them, or by anything else outside our reasonable control. That includes email that arrives late, is filtered as spam, or is rejected by your mail provider.

Schedules, standings & league outcomes

The service generates match schedules, pairings, and standings from the rules and data your club configures. These are tools that support your club's decisions, not the decisions themselves — your club reviews and publishes what its players see.

We are not responsible for the competitive or personal consequences of any schedule, pairing, standing, ranking, or playoff outcome produced by the service, including disputes between players, perceived unfairness, or where you place. Raise those with your club.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseLeague Pro is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for lost profits, lost goodwill, or lost or corrupted data.

Our total liability to you for any and all claims is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose — which, for a player whose club pays for the service, is nil. If your club subscribes, its own liability cap is in its Service Agreement.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

Your club or we may suspend or end access to the service. You may stop using the service at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above; continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes relating to these terms or the service will be handled by the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
